This page explains how to use CHANT's "TANE" and "KIYOME," as well as general shampoo bars, providing helpful tips.
We will also introduce effective bubble packs and hot packs based on real customer experiences, so please read until the end.
How to Use a Full-Body Shampoo Bar
We will explain how to use the shampoo bar for "hair," "body," and "face."
Washing Hair with a Shampoo Bar
First, here are the basic steps for washing your hair:
- Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water (pre-wash).
- Gently rub the shampoo bar directly onto your wet hair about three times in a circular motion.
- Lather by gently massaging your scalp and wash your entire hair.
For those concerned about tangling: "Three tips" that make a difference
If you're concerned about your hair feeling tangled after washing, try these tips first.
- Pre-wash for 30 seconds (Thoroughly wetting your scalp ensures stable lathering).
- Apply directly from "scalp to ends," and gently wash your scalp thoroughly.
-
On days when you feel tangles after rinsing, try a "30-second foam pack."
Wrapping your hair in lather and leaving it for 30 seconds before rinsing tends to make it smoother (individual results may vary).
For those who still experience tangling: Recommendations for the transition period
-
We recommend using SAKI Oil Serum in conjunction.
SAKI Oil Serum is a fermented oil beauty serum that can be left in the bath and used on both wet skin and hair.
It's surfactant-free and separates into two layers, so shake it well more than 10 times until it becomes cloudy, then dispense one pump, apply it to your face, and gently massage the remaining oil into your hair ends. - During the transition period until you get used to the shampoo bar, it's fine to use your existing conditioner.
- When rinsing, gently untangle your hair with your fingers to prevent tangling.
- If you're still concerned about tangling, we recommend gently loosening your scalp with a shampoo brush before rinsing.
*The area behind the ears tends to get stiff, so a gentle massage with a comfortable pressure can refresh it. - Wet a body towel or shower puff, then rub the shampoo bar onto it about 3 times in a circular motion to create a lather (crumpling it helps create more foam).
- Gently wash your entire body without scrubbing too hard.
- Wet your hands or a foaming net for your face, then rub the shampoo bar onto it to create a lather.
- Gently apply the lather to your face.
- Without scrubbing hard, gently glide the lather over your face to loosen dirt, then rinse with cool or lukewarm water.
- Wet a towel large enough to wrap your hair.
- Wring out the towel.
- Heat the towel in the microwave for about 30 seconds (be careful not to make it too hot).
- Wrap the warmed towel around your hair, which still has shampoo bar lather on it.
- Leave it on as a pack while you soak in the bathtub for a while.
- Remove the towel, rinse your hair, and dry it.

Washing Your Face with a Shampoo Bar
Finally, here's how to wash your face:
While you can create enough lather with just your hands, using a foaming net makes it quicker to lather, so it's recommended.
You can purchase a facial foaming net in the following gift boxes from CHANT:
Also, unlike regular soap, shampoo bars contain nourishing beauty ingredients, so some people find that doing a bubble pack on their face and entire body results in a more moisturized feeling (individual results may vary). If you wear heavy makeup, especially waterproof items, be sure to remove your makeup beforehand.
